And the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Ahronot”, citing a foreign report, has told readers that hundreds of bottles of deadly anthrax toxin are stored at the Institute...

Israel will Prosecute Holocaust Deniers

”Holocaust denial crimes” committed overseas would be an offense under Israeli legal jurisdiction and serve as grounds for extradition under legislation, which is expected to pass a first reading in the Knesset this week.The government is backing the bill, drafted by MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union). Eldad originally proposed the measure as a move against then Palestinian Authority prime minister Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) for his doctoral dissertation 20 years ago in which he estimated that the Nazis killed less than a million Jews.
But the bill is unlikely to be anything more than declarative in nature. Countries that don't have laws against Holocaust denial are unlikely to extradite citizens to be tried in Israel for the crime, although Israel's protective measure would not require such a law to be on their books, according to Justice Ministry officials. Another problem is the fact that Holocaust denial is a crime of expression, and most countries treat such crimes liberally.A more practical implication of the law is that it would deter Holocaust deniers from visiting Israel.In 1994, Israel extended its legal protection abroad for the state and its citizens to Jews and Jewish institutions, which enables it to obtain justice for them as it does for Israelis. At the time, the idea of including Holocaust denial in Israel's ex-territorial laws was considered, but eventually dropped.Eldad said the amendment to the law in Israel, where Holocaust denial is a crime, is necessary because almost all of those crimes are committed abroad. He said he believes the law is going to be very practical, since violations would give Israel the right to demand prosecution even if it does not request extradition. He said it would also enable Israel to file counter suits if Jews are sued for libel for labeling Holocaust deniers.”The law would also send a signal to a Holocaust denier like Abu Mazen that if he enters Israel he is a criminal," Eldad said. Moreover, he said the passage of the law would send a message that for the Jewish people there is "no statute of limitations" on the Holocaust. He emphasized the need to keep Nazism from rearing again.

Israel to kill in U.S., allied nations

Israel is embarking upon a more aggressive approach to "the war on terror" that will include staging targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials told United Press International.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has forbidden the practice until now, these sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The Israeli statements were confirmed by more than a half dozen former and currently serving U.S. foreign policy and intelligence officials in interviews with United Press International.
But an official at the Israeli Embassy in Washington told UPI: "That is rubbish. It is completely untrue. Israel and the United States have such a close and co-operative intelligence relationship, especially in the field of counter-terrorism, that the assertion is ludicrous."
With the appointment of Meir Dagan, the new director of Israel's Mossad secret intelligence service, Sharon is preparing "a huge budget" increase for the spy agency as part of "a tougher stance in fighting global jihad (or holy war)," one Israeli official said.
Since Sharon became Israeli prime minister, Tel Aviv has mainly limited its practice of targeted killings to the West Bank and Gaza because "no one wanted such operations on their territory," a former Israeli intelligence official said.
Another former Israeli government official said that under Sharon, "diplomatic constraints have prevented the Mossad from carrying out 'preventive operations' (targeted killings) on the soil of friendly countries until now." He said Sharon is "reversing that policy, even if it risks complications to Israel's bilateral relations."
A former Israeli military intelligence source agreed: "What Sharon wants is a much more extensive and tough approach to global terrorism, and this includes greater operational maneuverability."
Does this mean assassinations on the soil of allies? "It does," he said.
"Mossad is definitely being beefed up," a U.S. government official said of the Israeli agency's budget increase. He declined to comment on the Tel Aviv's geographic expansion of targeted killings.
An FBI spokesman also declined to comment: "This is a policy matter. We only enforce federal laws."
A congressional staff member with deep knowledge of intelligence matters said, "I don't know on what basis we would be able to protest Israel's actions." He referred to the recent killing of Qaed Salim Sinan al Harethi, a top al Qaida leader, in Yemen by a remotely controlled CIA drone. "That was done on the soil of a friendly ally," the staffer said.
But the complications posed by Israel's new policy are real.
"Israel does not have a good record at doing this sort of thing," said former CIA counter-terrorism official Larry Johnson. He cited the 1997 fiasco where two Mossad agents were captured after they tried to assassinate Khaled Mashaal, a Hamas political leader, by injecting him with poison.
According to Johnson, the attempt, made in Amman, Jordan, caused a political crisis in Israeli-Jordan relations. In addition, because the Israeli agents carried Canadian passports, Canada withdrew its ambassador in protest, he said. Jordan is one of two Arab nations to recognize Israel. The other is Egypt.
At the time, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, "I have no intention of stopping the activities of this government against terror".
Former CIA officials say Israel was forced to free jailed Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and 70 other Jordanian and Palestinian prisoner being held in Israeli jails to secure the release of the two would-be Mossad assassins.
Phil Stoddard, former director of the Middle East Institute, cited a botched plot to kill Ali Hassan Salemeh, the mastermind of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. The 1974 attempt severely embarrassed Mossad when the Israeli hit team mistakenly assassinated a Moroccan waiter in Lillehammer, Norway.
Salemeh, later a CIA asset, was killed in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1976 by a car bomb placed by an Israeli assassination team, former U.S. intelligence officials said.
"Israel knew Salemeh was providing us with preventive intelligence on the Palestinians and his being killed pissed off a lot of people," said a former senior CIA official.
But some Israeli operations have been successful.
Gerald Bull, an Ontario-born U.S. citizen and designer of the Iraqi supergun -- a massive artillery system capable of launching satellites into orbit, and of delivering nuclear chemical or biological payloads from Baghdad to Israel -- was killed in Belgium in March 1990. The killing is still unsolved, but former CIA officials said a Mossad hit team is the most likely suspect.
Bull worked on the supergun design -- codenamed Project Babylon -- for 10 years, and helped the Iraqis develop many smaller artillery systems. He was found with five bullets in his head outside his Brussels apartment.
Israeli hit teams, which consist of units or squadrons of the Kidon, a sub-unit for Mossad's highly secret Metsada department, would stage the operations, former Israeli intelligence sources said. Kidon is a Hebrew word meaning "bayonet," one former Israeli intelligence source said. This Israeli government source explained that in the past Israel has not staged targeted killings in friendly countries because "no one wanted such operations on their territory." This has become irrelevant, he said.
Dagan, the hard-driving director of Mossad, will implement the new changes, former Israeli government officials said. Dagan, nicknamed "the gun," was Sharon's adviser on counter-terrorism during the government of Netanyahu in 1996, former Israeli government officials say. A former military man, Dagan has also undertaken extremely sensitive diplomatic missions for several of Israel's prime ministers, former Israeli government sources said.
Former Israel Defense Forces Lt. Col. Gal Luft, who served under Dagan, described him as an "extremely creative individual -- creative to the point of recklessness." A former CIA official who knows Dagan said the new Mossad director knows "his foreign affairs inside and out," and has a "real killer instinct."
Dagan is also "an intelligence natural" who has "a superb analyst not afraid to act on gut instinct," the former CIA official said. Dagan has already removed Mossad officials whom he regards as "being too conservative or too cautious" and is building up "a constituency of senior people of the same mentality," one former long-time Israeli operative said. Dagan is also urging that Mossad operatives rely less on secret sources and rely more on open information that is so plentifully provided on the Internet and newspapers.
"It's a cultural thing," one former Israeli intelligence operative explained. "Mossad in the past has put its emphasis on Humint (human intelligence) and secret operations and has neglected the whole field of open media, which has become extremely important..."

The Israeli government has decided that laws in other lands, even its allies, are to be ignored in its so-called “war on terror,” and purportedly will target anyone who does not support their Jewish supremacist worldwide efforts. Consequently, the Israeli government has decided that it will begin “targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials told United Press International.” These statements have been confirmed by several U.S. officials. However, Israel’s embassy, possibly wishing to save face, adamantly denies the claim. In an effort believed to allay pressure by those who might oppose the policy, Israel’s embassy says the claim is merely “rubbish.”Israel has long been known to engage in so-called “targeted killings” in the Occupied Territories. Often, it will drop bombs on large apartment complexes, with the hope that one of their hated enemies will be within the building, ignoring the lives of the many innocents who occupy adjoining apartments. Israel sometimes shoots machine-guns from helicopters at its suspected terrorists, occasionally bombing them too.One wonders if similar policies might be enacted in the U.S.? Will Americans face similar terrorism from Israel? It was not too long ago that some members of the Jewish Defense League, who are well respected in Israel among its people, were arrested, plotting to bomb several religious institutions across the U.S. Rather than reveal who was really behind this ordeal, one of the Jews (who were Israeli citizens) who was responsible for this, committed suicide. Shortly after 9-11, several so-called Israeli “art students” were discovered to have been trying to target several people in the government, many in the Defense, with their “artwork.” What were their ulterior motives? Could bugs have been planted in the artwork’s frames with occasional transmitting devices? Were the Israelis planning on gathering intelligence by introducing themselves, meeting their “marks,” and casing their homes? Was it a move to intimidate government officials who were not pro-Israel by showing that the Israelis knew where the government officials lived? It’s really hard to say, because Jewish activist Michael Chertoff reportedly let all the Israelis who were detained, all go back to Israel. With the virtual monopoly that Jews seemingly have over the State Department, this is not too surprising.The FBI has long been investigating AIPAC. Of course, with all the Jews who run the State Department, combined with Bush’s Israel-first agenda (despite some Israel-first Jews often ridiculing Bush, making him look like a puppet), nothing will ever come of it.
The UPI cites a former Israeli military intelligence source, who asserts that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will allow his Mossad operatives a “greater operational maneuverability”. When asked directly if this will mean assassinations on the soil of allies, the Israeli responded, “It does...” Apparently, this is part of a long trend in other countries. The article mentions a former CIA asset, who was murdered by the Israelis. "Israel does not have a good record at doing this sort of thing," noted Larry Johnson, a former CIA counter-terrorism official.
So if you get a knock at your door in the middle of the night and hear an Israeli accent, it might not be a bad idea to bring your shotgun to the door...

CONCLUSIONS:

Based on traditional presumption that Israel was elected exclusive, superior to another nations – “the kingdom of Priests and the Holy Nation”, Israeli laws must be superior to international laws;
Israeli law-court must be exclusive, final and binding in consideration of cases, taking a decisions, defining somebody’s guilt, fixing punishments and passing sentences;
It must have special privileges over international courts in all legal matters.

The new Sanhedrin considers as the most heavy crimes the following:
“anti-Semitism”, properly anti-Judaism, as well as politically incorrect ideologies (freedom of opinion, beliefs, information, meetings, political movements etc.).

What those bastardi invent next ?...

According to Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, "Iran is fast approaching the point of no return in its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons capability", and he considers this a "nightmare scenario". That could be so if, as Shalom appears to assume, the most likely target for an Iranian nuclear weapon is Israel. His solution is to call on the world community to use the processes of the UN International Atomic Energy Agency to pressure Iran into systematic inspections by IAEA of the country’s nuclear facilities with the goal, of course, of deterring Iranian weapons development.

The whole world should view with concern the possible development of nuclear weapons by any new country, as well as the possession of nuclear weapons by any country, including the United States. But the Israeli posture on the matter is a supreme irony. Beginning immediately after World War II and the founding of Israel, the Israelis began a nuclear weapons development program. Under President Eisenhower's Atoms for Peace program they acquired knowledge and technology that, contrary to the Atoms for Peace rules, they parlayed into a nuclear weapons program. With the help of the French they developed a reactor and, it is said, with the help of South Africa, the Israelis successfully tested a weapon in the late 1960s.
They have since accumulated a stockpile variously estimated at 250 weapons, how many nuclear and how many thermonuclear is not clear. Their nuclear facilities at Dimona in the Negev Desert are off limits to all visitors.
They admit nothing to the international community. They have not joined the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). With their not so secret weapons stockpile they have become the driving energy for nuclear weapons development programs by Iran, Egypt, and others.

It is now obvious, if not admitted by Washington’s “neo-conservative” hawks, that much of the so-called intelligence about Iraq’s nuclear program under Saddam Hussein was based on Iraqi exile and Israeli, meaning Mossad, reports. On the basis of such tenuous truths the United States launched an unprovoked war against another nation and put 150,000 young Americans and others in harm’s way in Iraq. At the present rate, the US will spend many billions of dollars and thousands of American, Iraqi and other lives to clean up the resulting mess. Given the Iraq record, the neo-conservatives would be complete fools to attack Iran based on Israeli or Iranian exile information.

Since its acquisition of nuclear weapons, Israel has stalked aggressively behind a double standard. While refusing to take a position one way or the other on its own weapons and ignoring international criticism, Israel has successfully used its considerable influence in US and European affairs to get any development of such weapons by its would be enemies on an international taboo list. The problem is that Israel has the weapons; everybody knows it; other governments accept the possibility that provoked, Israel may use such weapons against them; those governments seek to develop such weapons at least in their own defense; and this is the operative formula for the long-term Middle East arms race.

Israeli nuclear weapons are at the center of this problem. It will not be resolved by efforts to suppress weapons development in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt or any other regional country. It might be disrupted by an absolute ban on the export of nuclear related technologies to any of those countries, but do not count on agreement to or enforcement of such a ban. If Israel succeeds in conning the United States, the European Union, perhaps the UN, and of course the Iranians into stopping weapons development in Iran, the next Israeli domino will be Pakistan, a Muslim country that already has tested weapons that, like the Israelis, are outside the purview of the non-proliferation treaty. The Israeli weapons are at their very least an attractive nuisance, and they will remain so unless destroyed.

The grown up elephant in the room is the existence of nuclear weapons anywhere. Israeli weapons represent a grown up offspring, because with 250 or more weapons, Israel at least rivals China for pride of place in the nuclear club. But the newest driving forces are the plans of the main nuclear power, the United States. Far from acquiescing in the destruction of nuclear weapons, the United States already uses UN-banned depleted uranium weapons and has announced plans to upgrade and develop new battlefield nuclear weapons, including bunker busters to take out the deepest enemy safe-havens. As the history of arms races has shown for millennia, that plan will inspire others to the same excesses.

Israel’s plan to keep its own weapons while using the international system to keep its potential enemies from developing them will not work. Rather, at least sixteen, some say more countries will continue basically underground efforts to acquire nuclear weapons and delivery systems that fit protection needs against perceived enemies. Developed countries will continue to abet this process by providing either approved, e.g., electric power generating, or "dual use" materials and equipment.
Survival is a powerful urge, and Israeli nuclear weapons are a blatant threat. It appears, probably realistically, that Islamic countries perceive Israeli weapons as a greater threat than any or even all of the weapons in the official club. That positions Israel at the vortex of a potential horrific storm. The bad news is that most people do not pay much attention to this problem. US officials mostly treat it like the headlights of an oncoming car, looking right by it. The good news is that a growing number of Israelis are concerned about the future of Israel, and nuclear weapons are only part of the cloud over it”…

Liberating America From Israel

Nine-eleven would not have occurred if the US government had refused to help Israel humiliate and destroy Palestinian society. Few express this conclusion publicly, but many believe it is the truth. I believe the catastrophe could have been prevented if any U.S. president during the past 35 years had had the courage and wisdom to suspend all U.S. aid until Israel withdrew from the Arab land seized in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.

The US lobby for Israel is powerful and intimidating, but any determined president-even President Bush this very day-could prevail and win overwhelming public support for the suspension of aid by laying these facts before the American people:

Israel's present government, like its predecessors, is determined to annex the West Bank-biblical Judea and Samaria - so Israel will become Greater Israel. Ultra-Orthodox Jews, who maintain a powerful role in Israeli politics, believe the Jewish Messiah will not come until Greater Israel is a reality. Although a minority in Israel, they are committed, aggressive, and influential. Because of deep religious conviction, they are determined to prevent Palestinians from gaining statehood on any part of the West Bank.

In its violent assaults on Palestinians, Israel uses the pretext of eradicating terrorism, but its forces are actually engaged advancing the territorial expansion just cited. Under the guise of anti-terrorism, Israeli forces treat Palestinians worse than cattle. With due process nowhere to be found, hundreds are detained for long periods and most are tortured. Some are assassinated. Homes, orchards, and business places are destroyed. Entire cities are kept under intermittent curfew, some confinements lasting for weeks. Injured or ill Palestinians needing emergency medical care are routinely held at checkpoints for an hour or more. Many children are undernourished. The West Bank and Gaza have become giant concentration camps. None of this could have occurred without US support. Perhaps Israeli officials believe life will become so unbearable that most Palestinians will eventually leave their ancestral homes.

Once beloved worldwide, the US government finds itself reviled in most countries because it provides unconditional support of Israeli violations of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the precepts of all major religious faiths.

How did the American people get into this fix ?

Nine-eleven had its principal origin 35 years ago when Israel's US lobby began its unbroken success in stifling debate about the proper US role in the Arab-Israeli conflict and effectively concealed from public awareness the fact that the US government gives massive uncritical support to Israel.

Thanks to the suffocating influence of Israel's US lobby, open discussion of the Arab-Israeli conflict has been non-existent in our government all these years. I have firsthand knowledge, because I was a member of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee in June 1967 when Israeli military forces took control of the Golan Heights, a part of Syria, as well as the Palestinian West Bank and Gaza. I continued as a member for 16 years and to this day maintain a close watch on Congress.

For 35 years, not a word has been expressed in that committee or in either chamber of Congress that deserves to be called debate on Middle East policy. No restrictive or limiting amendments on aid to Israel have been offered for 20 years, and none of the few offered in previous years received more than a handful of votes. On Capitol Hill, criticism of Israel, even in private conversation, is all but forbidden, treated as downright unpatriotic, if not anti-Semitic. The continued absence of free speech was assured when those few who spoke out-Senators Adlai Stevenson and Charles Percy, and Reps. Paul "Pete" McCloskey, Cynthia McKinney, Earl Hilliard, and myself-were defeated at the polls by candidates heavily financed by pro-Israel forces.

As a result, legislation dealing with the Middle East has been heavily biased in favor of Israel and against Palestinians and other Arabs year after year. Home constituencies, misled by news coverage equally lop-sided in Israel's favor, remain largely unaware that Congress behaves as if it were a subcommittee of the Israeli parliament.

However, the bias is widely noted beyond America, where most news media candidly cover Israel's conquest and generally excoriate America's complicity and complacency. When President Bush welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, sometimes called the Butcher of Beirut, as "my dear friend" and "a man of peace" after Israeli forces, using US-donated arms, completed their devastation of the West Bank last spring, worldwide anger against American policy reached the boiling point.

The fury should surprise no one who reads foreign newspapers or listens to BBC. In several televised statements long before 9/11, Osama bin Laden, believed by U.S. authorities to have masterminded 9/11, cited U.S. complicity in Israel's destruction of Palestinian society as a principal complaint. Prominent foreigners, in and out of government, express their opposition to U.S. policies with unprecedented frequency and severity, especially since Bush announced his determination to make war against Iraq.

The lobby's intimidation remains pervasive. It seems to reach every government center and even houses of worship and revered institutions of higher learning. It is highly effective in silencing the many U.S. Jews who object to the lobby's tactics and Israel's brutality.

Nothing can justify 9/11. Those guilty deserve maximum punishment, but it makes sense for America to examine motivations promptly and as carefully as possible. Terrorism almost always arises from deeply-felt grievances. If they can be eradicated or eased, terrorist passions are certain to subside.

A year after 9/11, President Bush has made no attempt to redress grievances, or even to identify them. In fact, he has made the scene far worse by supporting Israel's religious war against Palestinians, an alliance that has intensified anti-American anger. He seems oblivious to the fact that nearly two billion people worldwide regard the plight of Palestinians as today's most important foreign-policy challenge. No one in authority will admit a calamitous reality that is skillfully shielded from the American people but clearly recognized by most of the world: America suffered 9/11 and its aftermath and may soon be at war with Iraq, mainly because US policy in the Middle East is made in Israel, not in Washington.

Israel is a scofflaw nation and should be treated as such. Instead of helping Sharon intensify Palestinian misery, our president should suspend all aid until Israel ends its occupation of Arab land Israel seized in 1967. The suspension would force Sharon's compliance or lead to his removal from office, as the Israeli electorate will not tolerate a prime minister who is at odds with the White House.

If Bush needs an additional reason for doing the right thing, he can justify the suspension as a matter of military necessity, an essential step in winning international support for his war on terrorism. He can cite a worthy precedent. When President Abraham Lincoln issued the proclamation that freed only the slaves in states that were then in rebellion, he make the restriction because of "military necessity."

If Bush suspends US aid, he will liberate all Americans from long years of bondage to Israel's misdeeds. IF….

The people of Europe are condemned for expressing their honest opinions

An important European Union (EU) survey has upset EU elite who do not wish the view of the European masses to be known or even listened to. This became apparent in one interesting developments this week.

At a press conference of the European Commission in Brussels on 4.11.03, a question by an IRNA correspondent has set in motion a chain of events which expose the contradictions between EU leaders and the normal European peoples.
The IRNA correspondent asked the Commission why the Islamic Republic of Iran was included in a list of countries in a question in a EU survey related with threat to world peace although Iran is not a nuclear power, it is not occupying others' territories and not threatening any other country.
European Commission official spokesman Gerasimos Thomas replied:
"I cannot answer the question because I do not know why the list of countries was made…"

This attracted great attention to this list and the countries on it. The list itself is the result of a survey of 7500 citizens in each of the 15 EU member states. One of the questions asked was: "For each of the following countries, tell me if, in your opinion, it presents a threat to peace in the world?"
Israel, US, N.Korea, India, China, Russia and the EU were also included in the list.
The country most considered a threat to world peace by the citizens of Europe is Israel (59 %) followed in second place by the United States. This has prompted a "Pavlov reflex" and cries of “anti-semitiiiiiism!” by the notorious Italian Premier and current EU President, Silvio Berlusconi, the informant, who immediately telephoned Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to express his 'surprise and indignation' over the report, while the Zionist regime expressed its contempt and anger over the survey.

European Commission president Romano Prodi has reacted by claiming that the survey's findings "do not represent the politics or the thoughts of the European Commission", god forbid.
"I am very concerned by the survey's findings: they reveal a prejudice that must be condemned without hesitation", he told La Stampa. "In a Europe born out of horror for the war and the Holocaust there is no place for or tolerance of anti-Semitism".
Prodi said the results could be attributed in part to the way in which Eurobarometer questions were asked: "No countries should have been suggested. We will have to look at how the questions were asked and if they were partisan we need to see who was responsible", he said (keeping in mind what Trotzky and Stalin taught).

Now the witch-hunt is on to find who was responsible for a democratic survey of European public opinion. Mr. Prodi did not say that the report was anti-Islamic because 8 of the 15 countries on the list were Muslim countries (Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Somalia), so presumably he and his camarilla only wished Muslim countries on the list and certainly not dear Israel and the United States...

Israel arms subs with nuclear weapons: an escalation of US-backed militarism

Israel has successfully equipped 3 submarines with the capacity to launch nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. This development marks a major escalation in Israel’s nuclear arms program, giving it the ability to strike a far wider range of targets. The revelation came in the midst of a sharp increase in Israeli provocations against Syria, Iran and the Palestinians that threaten to destabilize the entire region. These provocations, like Israel’s weapons program, have received the full backing of Israel’s principal sponsor, the USA.
According to unnamed high-level officials in Washington interviewed by the Times, Israel has modified several US-supplied Harpoon missiles to enable them to carry nuclear weapons. The missiles—originally designed for conventional use—will be placed on three diesel-powered submarines that Israel purchased from Germany in 1999 and 2000 [officially or not?].
The additional nuclear capacity will vastly increase the threat that Israel poses to neighboring countries in the Middle East—and indeed beyond—since mobility of the submarines will render the country’s nuclear arsenal impervious to missile attack. Israel will now have the capacity to launch nuclear weapons from land, air and sea.
The Times reports that an unnamed high-level Israeli official confirmed the statements made by the Americans. While it has been known for over a year that Israel has been attempting to equip these submarines with the ability to launch nuclear weapons, the Times article was the first direct confirmation that it had in fact succeeded in doing so.
Israel is the ONLY country in the Middle East that possesses nuclear weapons. Estimates put the number of nuclear warheads in its possession at around/over 200, which would make it the fifth largest nuclear power in the world [forget Saddam!].
The country’s nuclear program began as early as the 1950s with the aid of its then close ally France. Since the late 1960s American intelligence has been aware that Israel possesses nuclear weapons. Far from criticizing Israel’s program, the US has aided its development and supplied the country with F-15 and F-16 fighter jets that are also capable of delivering nuclear warheads. This has been only a small part of the massive funding of the Israeli military by the United States.

The Times quotes a senior American official as saying, “We tolerate nuclear weapons in Israel for the same reason we tolerate them in Britain and France. We don’t regard Israel as a threat”. In other words, because Israel is an ally to the USA, it is free to develop whatever nuclear capacity it wishes, capacity that can be used against its neighbors...
Despite general acknowledgment of Israel’s status as a nuclear power, the country has maintained its policy of “nuclear ambiguity,” refusing to openly declare its nuclear capacity. Israel has enforced the strictest secrecy regarding the details of its program.
In 1986, Mordechai Vanunu, a former nuclear technician, was jailed for 18 years for revealing information about the development of Israel’s Dimona reactor to the Sunday Times of London. Press reports are routinely censored by the military and attempts by parliamentary members to debate the issue of the country’s nuclear program have been quickly suppressed.

The timing of the revelations is bound up with an attempt on the part of American and Israeli governments to step up pressure on Israel’s neighbors. The American officials “were disclosing the information to caution Israel’s enemies at a time of heightened tensions in the region”. That is, the leak is meant as a threat of wholesale destruction aimed particularly against Iran and Syria should they respond in kind to the increasingly aggressive actions by Israel itself.
The most recent issue of the German magazine Der Spiegel reports that the Israeli intelligence organization Mossad received orders two months ago to develop plans for attacking Iran. Israel has repeatedly threatened to launch a “preemptive” strike against Iran if it suspects that Iran is developing a nuclear weapons program. For its part, Tehran has stated publicly that it will take unspecified measures of self-defense in the event that Israel launches a strike on its nuclear facilities.
These threats have been coordinated with a systematic campaign by Washington to pressure Iran over its construction of a nuclear facility. The Bush administration has repeated unsubstantiated allegations that the facility—which is being constructed with Russian aid—is part of an ongoing nuclear weapons program. Iran has insisted that the nuclear processing plant is intended only for the production of energy.

The United Nations, under pressure from the US and with the support of European countries, has demanded that Iran open up its nuclear facilities to international inspection. The UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency [God damn] has set an October 31 deadline for Iran to somehow prove that it has no agenda for producing nuclear weapons. Such a demand parallels the earlier insistence that Iraq prove it had no weapons of mass destruction. By design, such demands are impossible to fulfill since they require the proof of a negative. The US can always claim that it is not satisfied with the evidence provided [and never invites any inspectors to herself!].
Iran is also being pressured into signing a protocol to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty that would force it to give the UN inspection agency unlimited access to any site whenever it chooses. Washington placed similar demands upon Iraq as the Bush administration manufactured its pretexts for launching military action.

While the UN has sharply criticized Iran for its nuclear energy program, it has remained completely silent over Israel’s ever-expanding nuclear arsenal. Highlighting the hypocrisy of the UN position is the fact that Israel—unlike Iran and the other major Arab states—has refused to sign the main component of the nuclear nonproliferation treaty.
This blatant double standard prompted several Arab countries to issue a complaint to the UN last month. Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa told the UN that it is “regrettable that some quarters selectively choose to level their false accusations at some Arab and Islamic states but not on others, while simultaneously ignoring the Israeli arsenal of weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear, chemical and biological weapons”.
Like Iran, Syria has cause for concern. The revelations concerning Israel’s nuclear program come only a week after Israel bombed a target deep in Syrian territory. Israel has charged that Syria supports Islamist Palestinian movements such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The United States has parroted these charges. At the same time, the US has alleged that Syria is aiding fighters resisting the American occupation of Iraq by allowing them to cross Syria’s border into Iraq. Recently a House panel, with the support of the Bush administration, passed a measure calling for diplomatic and economic sanctions against Syria in response to its alleged support for terrorism.

The Israeli-US threats against Syria and Iran have increased at the same time as fascist Israel expands its attacks against Palestinians, including an Israeli-incursion into the Rafah refugee camp on the border of the Gaza Strip and Egypt. After a three-day operation supposedly designed to destroy alleged weapons smuggling tunnels, the Israeli army pulled out on Sunday. Eight Palestinians were killed during the invasion, including two children, and dozens more were injured. The UN estimates that as many as 120 homes were demolished by the army this time, leaving some 1,500 people homeless. The brutal policy of home demolition is designed to prepare the way for the wholesale expulsion of the Palestinians from the entire region.

Together these developments indicate that Israel is paving the way to another major war in the Middle East. The Sharon schizoid government is determined to pursue a policy of expansion, in part to deflect internal tensions heightened by a recent strike of port workers. Israel’s increasing belligerence enjoys the full backing of Washington. Like the Sharon regime, the Bush administration is facing increasing opposition at home, heightened by the crisis of its occupation of Iraq. The US administration is responding to this crisis by preparing for yet another war, for which Israel is functioning as its advance guard.
The enormous and expanding nuclear capacity of Israel—not to mention that of the United States!—highlights the catastrophic dangers posed by the provocative militarist orientation of Israel and its principal supporter who are the most dangerous enemies of humanity.

The new F-16-I, named Sufah (Thunderstorm) in Hebrew, will strengthen the IAF's long reach, enabling it to reach nations such as Iran and Libya. It can fly a round trip of over 1600 kilometers without refueling. The first of the jets will arrive in Israel in December 03, and will be stationed - together with the families of the pilots and crews - in the Negev. The plane is different than the United States' F-16s, and no Israeli or American pilots have yet flown them, although IAF pilots have practiced on a Sufah simulator.

The Bush administration has already supplied Israel with Harpoon cruise missiles armed with nuclear warheads. The missiles were deployed on Israel's fleet of Dolphin-class submarines, which were extracted from Germany as WWII "reparations". The German subs are routinely described as a "donation" by Israel and controlled media. The 3 Dolphin class submarines, which can remain at sea for a month, are equipped with six torpedo tubes suitable for 21-inch torpedoes that are normally used on most submarines. It is believed that the Trident II missile can be retrofitted to work with the Dolphin-class submarines. Israel's seaborne nuclear doctrine is designed to place one submarine in the Persian Gulf, the other in the Mediterranean, with a third on standby...

The US plans to deliver 5,000 satellite controlled precision bombs to Israel. Included among these are also 500 so called "Bunker Breakers". Security experts assume that the Teheran atomic program is the reason for the delivery. "Der Spiegel" – Jerusalem, 21.09.04:

"These are not weapons, which can be used at the Palestinian front. Security sources report that Israel could use the "Bunker Breakers" against Iran or possibly Syria, thereby confirming a report in the newspaper "Haaretz". Neither the US Embassy in Israel nor the Israeli ministry of Defense were willing to comment. "Bunker Breakers" are bombs which weight about one ton, are able to penetrate deep into the ground and to pierce up to two meter thick concrete walls. According to "Haaretz" the pentagon justification for the sales of the weapons to the US congress was the necessity for the Israeli military to preserve its "Qualitative Advantage" in the region. This also serves the strategic and tactical interests of the United States. From Israeli government circles it was reported that the arms deal went through without any political difficulties, although Israel had already been strongly criticized internationally for the use of precision bombs in the liquidation of Hamas leaders. He said any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, clustered in three major complexes and dozens of other sites, "wouldn't be a pinprick strike; it would have to be a large-scale military air-strike that would result in large-scale casualties."

Some 140,000 American military personnel are currently stationed adjacent to Iran in Iraq and Kuwait. What Do We Offer the World ?

"So, how do we advance the cause of female emancipation in the Muslim world?"- asks Richard Perle in his opus "An End to Evil". He replies, "We need to remind the women of Islam ceaselessly: Our enemies are the same as theirs; our victory will be theirs as well". Well, the neoconservative cause "of female emancipation in the Muslim world" was probably set back a bit by the photo shoot of Pfc. Lynndie England and the "Girls Gone Wild" of Abu Ghraib prison. Indeed, the filmed orgies among U.S. military police outside the cells of Iraqi prisoners, the S&M humiliation of Muslim men, the sexual torment of their women raise a question.

Exactly what are the "values" the West has to teach the Islamic world? "This war is about - deeply about - sex," declaims neocon Charles Krauthammer. Militant Islam is "threatened by the West because of our twin doctrines of equality and sexual liberation". But whose "twin doctrines" is Krauthammer talking about? The sexual liberation he calls our doctrine belongs to a '60s revolution that devout Christians, Jews and Muslims have been resisting for years. What does Krauthammer mean by sexual liberation? The right of "tweeners" and teenage girls to dress and behave like Britney Spears? Their right to condoms in junior high? Their right to abortion without parental consent? If conservatives reject the "equality" preached by Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, NARAL and the National Organization for Women, why seek to impose it on the Islamic world? Why not stand beside Islam, and against Hollywood and Hillary? In June 2002 at West Point, President Bush said, "Moral truth is the same in every culture, in every time and in every place".

But even John Kerry does not agree with George Bush on the morality of homosexual unions and stem-cell research. On such issues, conservative Americans have more in common with devout Muslims than with liberal Democrats. The president notwithstanding, Americans no longer agree on what is moral truth. For as someone said a few years back, there is a cultural war going on in this country - a religious war. It is about who we are, what we believe and what we stand for as a people. What some of us view as the moral descent of a great and Godly republic into imperial decadence, neocons see as their big chance to rule the world. In Georgia, recently, the president declared to great applause: "I can't tell you how proud I am of our commitment to values. That commitment to values is going to be an integral part of our foreign policy as we move forward. These aren't American values, these are universal values. Values that speak universal truths".

But what universal values is he talking about? If he intends to impose the values of MTV America on the Muslim world in the name of a "world democratic revolution", he will provoke and incite a war of civilizations America cannot win because Americans do not want to fight it. This may be the neocons' war. It is not our war [perhaps this dog-brained president just follows Lenin with his world revolution?]. When Bush speaks of freedom as God's gift to humanity, does he mean the First Amendment freedom of Larry Flynt to produce pornography and of Salman Rushdie to publish "The Satanic Verses" - a book considered blasphemous to the Islamic faith? If the Islamic world rejects this notion of freedom, why is it our duty to change their thinking? Why are they wrong? When the president speaks of freedom, does he mean the First Amendment prohibition against our children reading the Bible and being taught the Ten Commandments in school? If the president wishes to fight a moral crusade, he should know the enemy is inside the gates.

The great moral and cultural threats to our civilization come not from outside America, but from within. We have met the enemy, and he is us. The war for the soul of America is not going to be lost or won in Fallujah.

The neoconservative dream was to create a pro-American, free-market democracy in Iraq to serve as a model and catalyst for Arab peoples and convert Iraq into a base camp of American Empire, flanking Iran and Syria. It was to bring to power an Iraqi DeGaulle named Ahmed Chalabi, who would recognize Israel, build a Mosul-to-Haifa oil pipeline and become the Simon Bolivar of the Middle East. That utopian vision has vanished.Unfortunately, Pagan America of 2004 has far less to offer the world in cultural fare than did Christian America of 1954. Many of the movies, books, magazines, TV shows, videos and much of the music we export to the world are as poisonous as the narcotics the Royal Navy forced on the Chinese people in the Opium Wars. A society that accepts the killing of a third of its babies as women's "emancipation," that considers homosexual marriage to be social progress, that hands out contraceptives to 13-year-old girls at junior high ought to be seeking out a confessional - better yet, an exorcist - rather than striding into a pulpit like Elmer Gantry to lecture mankind on the superiority of "American values..."

Paul J.Balles looks at how the USA "has become the world's sickest, most inhumane terrorist state". He calls on the rest of the world to "adopt a zero tolerance policy for bullying" by the USA and Israel. "Living through five or six major wars has hardened me to what I thought were the extremes of inhuman cruelty and brutality.Two things made those extremes almost bearable: the brutality always revealed - at least according to the media coverage - the viciousness of the enemy. It was therefore quite understandable when our "brave men and women" pulverized the enemy. Films of Japanese torturing captive Americans somehow justified holding over 7000 Japanese Americans in internment camps during World War II; and only a small percentage of Americans found the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki unreasonably vengeful at best, at worst, depraved . The North Koreans were portrayed in the media as barbaric beasts with their captives, quite unlike their southern counterpoints - our allies during the Korean War. No one ever felt the need to explain how the South Koreans were a civilized breed while the North Koreans were absolute savages, at least according to the official line. In Vietnam, our warriors justifiably (or so the media made us believe) dropped napalm on the North Vietnamese who had the gall to hide in villages and tunnels to ravage our invaders. At least it was accepted practice until some rogue photojournalist filmed a young girl screaming down a Vietnamese road in flames. One of our lieutenants also got caught commanding his troops to open fire on an entire village of civilians - women and children. We had obviously - to some - gone too far. If those few torturous incidents hadn't been filmed, we might have carried on and won the war in Vietnam (or so the thinking goes) with our napalm and wanton village massacres. Then, when the Iraqi troops ran (literally) fleeing Kuwait in 1991, our airmen annihilated them on the road north, bombing their retreat to melted glass (as one Lockheed acquaintance put it). That feast for hungry slaughterers received little attention. The bombers and strafers felt no guilt after Saddam's troops had blown up Kuwait's oil wells. The nagging memory of unrevenged defeat somehow allowed members of the clergy to ignore the devastating inhuman cost to children in Iraq during 10 years of sanctions. Only a few humanitarians among academics spoke out. Congress completely ignored it. The public didn't care. Why should they?

Our leaders spoke of everything but the brutality of our enforcers. We have now reached a stage where our extreme horrors of brutality and cruelty have exceeded our past records. We no longer have the rationale of moral righteousness of the earlier wars. There were no excuses for Abu-Ghraib, but our interest in that inhuman travesty dried up and blew away. We have little concern about our violations of human rights in Guantanamo. We care less about ill-treatment of Arabs and Arab Americans in the USA.But the most extremes - the real horrors - of this war come with the most primitive killer mentality developed in our youth. I've now seen a half dozen documentary films and read eyewitness accounts that reveal troops or pilots gloating over the massacres of civilians who just happened to be available targets. Dr. June Scorza Terpstra, a "Social Justice" teacher, writes of our "killers" she's had in her classrooms: "These students proudly proclaimed that they terrorized and killed defenceless Iraqis. They intimated that their Arab victims are nothing more to them than collateral damage. "US Marines who had done tours in Iraq told Dr. Terpstra that they had "sacrificed" by "serving" in Iraq so that she could enjoy the freedom to teach in the USA. Dr. Terpstra rebuffed the rationalization, saying that the "sacrifice" had nothing to do with any self-justifying line about making the world a safer place to live in. "They sacrificed their lives, limbs and sanity for money, some education and the thrills of the violence for which they are socially bred."

No conscience or empathy for others - these are the qualities of the brutal bully. They also happen to be the defining qualities of the sociopath. The sickness goes back further than the current war, according to Dr. Tepstra: "Sacrificing for the 'bling and booty' in Iraq or Afghanistan, The Philippines, Grenada, Central America, Mexico, Somalia, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or any of the other numerous wars and invasions spanning US history as an entity and beginning with their foundational practice of killing the Indians and stealing their land."

Dr. Terpstra concluded her reference to students who enjoyed the thrills of pillaging, rape and murder by adding, appropriately: "These military and mercenary terrorist-students are trained in terrorist training camps all under the USA, funded by American taxpayers."Without doubt, the US has not only become the world's major power, it has become the world's sickest, most inhumane terrorist state. Brutal bullies. It's the brutal bullying behaviour that brings the USA so close to Israel. Answering the question "what makes a bully?" led Dr. Sam Samenow to explain: "Children who systematically bully others usually have a group of children they bully regularly while other bullies randomly target a variety of students." A perfect fit for Israel's systematic bullying of the Palestinians and for the USA randomly targeting a variety of victims.

The variety of America's victims doesn't include Israel. Why not? Israel destroyed an American naval vessel, killing US servicemen. The attack by North Vietnamese on a US destroyer in the Gulf of Tonkin was enough provocation for war. Why didn't the US bully pick on the Israel bully?Israel had the chutzpah to develop at least 200 nuclear weapons. The American bully hasn't castigated the Middle Eastern bully for that or for Israel's failure to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. Yet the brutal American takes pride in bullying Iran for wanting to develop nuclear power as a source of energy, despite Iran's membership as a nuclear non-proliferation state.We've seen what the victims of bullying can and will do. They resist in whatever way they can. They learn to make bombs and they become suicide bombers when they can't stand the bullies any longer.Like the advice given to schools for the treatment of bullies, the rest of the world needs to adopt a zero tolerance policy for bullying. The countries of Asia and Africa and Europe and South America need to say STOP and mean it.

Italy, it seems, has the right idea. They've arrested and charged 26 Americans for kidnapping an Italian Muslim cleric and taking him to Egypt on a rendition programme during which he was tortured. Let's hope that the Italians stick by their anti-bullying guns, and that others follow suit.

Then, Yeltzyn’s “reform” gang managed to get into the debt similar to all the debts made by USSR for 75 years… and under Putin, the joint corporate debt of Russia reached over 300 billion $$...

Here the best never win, and the worst belong to all nationalities with no elected... Millions of criminal offences remain unsolved, and millions of criminals unpunished...

Minimum consumer basket in Moscow is 200 EUR a month, so the necessary income level here must be from 300 EUR (living wage) to 400-500 EUR per person (if you need to buy some clothes, shoes, household goods, pay study etc.); while in fact average Russian adult earns monthly 200-250 EUR at the best, and a half of the country’s population lives on 150 $$ a month !... Remuneration of labor adopted by shitty Duma, is 65 EUR per month, and official reduced living wage 100-110 EUR (which all goes for alimentation), and how about 100 EUR for a public flat, not speaking of the rented lodging!.

“Washington Post“ (one unscrupulous Bruce P.Jackson, 28.Oct.,03) goes further and demands from "antisemitic" Russia compensations for "the greatest illegal expropriation of Jewish property during Perestroika since the Nazi pogroms in the 30s"... Not so many religionists fight against idolatry within Christian Church, as well as pseudo-religious swindling, new shamanism, witchcraft and occultism. Russia especially was flooded since “Perestroika” with all sorts of cheat, both political [Yeltzyn’s pseudo-reform mafia] and religious one: multitudes of sects, missions, false prophets and saints have appeared here- “White Brotherhood”, Asahara-Zen, underground mysticism, hundreds of Swaggart/Hinn-style missionary pastors, “evangelists” a’la Graham, “healers”, Moonites, Korean Church (predicting Christ’s coming in 1992-93), Yehovites, Mormons, Church of Christ and other charismatics, Lubavich Hassidim (who declared their rebbe a “Messiah/Mashiah“ and arranged Hanukkah in Kremlin- why not on Capitol Hill?), Messianic Jews, Krishnaites, Maharishi Mahesh, Osh/Rajneesh, Scientology, Tantrism, Satanists, thousands of magicians, astrologers, ESP and UFO experts, etc - all those guffawing, affected, jerking in ecstasy, sobbing and writhing in hysterics, fakers claiming to be super-religious, super-spiritual or super-humans... Hearing about tolerance of many religious communities of Western world towards “sexual minorities”, including Unitarians, British union of “Christian” gays & lesbians, archbishop of Canterbury, Jewish Reform and Reconstructionist movements, Hillary Rodpig Clinton, senator J.Lieberman, the Soho-fan (son of New Age) Prince Charles, Rudolph Giuliani, Vaclav Pes Havel, Cheney’s daughter, Angela schMerkel, Tony Blair, Elton Junk-John, Mayor de Paris, Zhirinovsky, Putin's administration and other trash.

We can never accept such a strange all-permissiveness: religion which permits the lack of sex-control, self-restraint, is false and pagan profanation serving Satanism. Let’s admit, sodomy is not “natural orientation” but yet a psychic illness, defect, pathology, violation of Nature's laws.

I suspect, none of participants at the London conference on “Nazi gold” preferred to remember that actual victims of Nazi “holocaust” were not only various prisoners of Hitler’s concentration camps: 0,7-to 1 million European Jews, 5 million non-Jews (Poles, Russians, Belorussians, Gypsies et al), and over 25 million Russian civilians and soldiers, as well as many other Slavonic peoples who perished in World War II... All of them were martyrs; all lost their lives and properties. How may we decide who suffered more and who less ? And consequently, who deserves material compensation and who not so obviously ?...

How can some victims have preferences or privileges over other victims - is it morally acceptable ??? [“Time” dd 19.01.98].

Has the Jewry moral right to demand "compensations" from modern Germany that has no relation to Hitler, if in the war there died 15 times more Russians than Jews, and 3 times more Polish victims than Jewish ones ???... While Russians suffered most of all, they don’t deserve building some big monument somewhere in the center of Berlin, being not so exclusive nation as Yehudim and Romale...

Israeli Lobby Slips Anti-Free Speech Bill Through House of Representatives:Criticizing Israel will be a taboo in United States- no funding if students cursed Israel.

The thought-control legislation was introduced by Republican member of the US Senate, conservative Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania together with a fellow conservative, a GOP stalwart and pro-Israel ideologue Kansas Senator Sam Brownback, which suggests cutting federal funding for American colleges and universities if those institutions are found to be permitting professors, students and student organizations to openly criticize Israel, which Santorum considers to be...“an act of anti-Semitism”. An ADL's “annual audit of antisemitic activity in America” claimed an increase of anti-Semitism on US college campuses, though the ADL definition of "anti-Semitism" is so broad that it largely includes even the mildest criticism of Israel that doesn't happened to be framed in the particular parameters that the ADL determines to be acceptable.

On September 17, 2003 the House Subcommittee on Select Education unanimously approved H.R. 3077, the International Studies in Higher Education Act, which was then passed by the House of Representatives on October 21. The chief sponsor of the legislation was Rep. Peter Hoekstra from Michigan. The Republican House members who originally joined Hoekstra in co-sponsoring this dangerous legislation are John A.Boehner (Ohio), John R.Carter (Texas), Tom Cole (Oklahoma), James Greenwood (Penn.), Howard McKeon (Calif.), Patrick J.Tiberi (Ohio), Joe Wilson (South Carolina).

Hoekstra asked for a suspension of the House rules which was approved and made it possible for this controversial measure to be passed with an un-recorded voice vote wherein there is no record of how individual House members voted, or if they even voted at all.
This bill is a direct affront to the First Amendment and the product of intrigue by a small clique of individuals and organizations which combines the “elite” forces of the powerful Israeli lobby in official Washington. There are absolutely no grass-roots organizations supporting this measure whatsoever. Instead, leading the push for Senate approval of the House-originated bill, are the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) of B’nai B’rith, the American Jewish Congress, and the American Jewish Committee who pretend to introduce laws in America!

Also lending its support is Empower America, the neo-conservative front group established by longtime pro-Israel publicist William Kristol, editor and publisher of billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s Weekly Standard which is said to be the “intellectual” journal that governs the train of foreign policy thinking in the Bush administration.

H.R. 3077 is innocuously worded and bureaucratic in its tone, decipherable only to those with the capacity to wade through legislative linguistics, but essentially it would set up a seven-member advisory board- federal Soviet-style tribunal or Politbureau to investigate and monitor criticism of Israel as well as to recommend cutting federal funding for American colleges and universities that are viewed as harboring critics of Israel. Gilbert Merk, vice provost for international affairs and development and director of the Centre for International Studies at Duke University has echoed the fears of many when he charged that this so-called advisory board “could easily be hijacked by those who have a political axe to grind and become a vehicle for an inquisition”. In fact, the primary individuals promoting this effort to control intellectual debate on the college campuses are known for having a political axe to grind: they are all prominent supporters of Israel and harsh critics of the Muslim world- M.Kramer, a professor at the Moshe Dayan Center at Tel-Aviv University; S.Kurtz, a contributor of ex-CIA man W.F.Buckley’s bitterly anti-Arab National Review Online and a research fellow at the staunchly pro-Israel Hoover Institution; and D.Pipes, founder of the pro-Israel Middle East Institute and its affiliate, Campus Watch, an ADL-sort organization that keeps tabs on college professors and students who are suspected of being critics of Israel...

Hiding behind the banner of “defending America”, these three - along with the Israeli lobby affiliates promoting H.R.3077- are claiming that they are fighting anti-Americanism as it is being taught on the college campuses. Lisa Anderson of the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs says in response that “this plan is never about diversity, or even about the truth”.

Rick Santorum and Sam Brownback never bother about the question of “ideological diversity” in Jewish/Israeli-related matters. In fact, those Republicans who are carrying water for Israel are concerned that universities are insufficiently pro-Israel.

So, on Oct. 16, 2004 G.Bush signed into law the Global Anti-Semitism Review Act, which establishes a special department within the US State Department to monitor global anti-Semitism, reporting annually to Congress. As one of the major steps in the implementation of that law, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice swore in Gregg Rickman as head of the State Department’s office of global anti-Semitism on May 22, 2006. Rickman will not have to define anti-Semitism. His State Dept. office has already done that for him. In its “Report on Global Anti-Semitism”, the US State Department lists the following set of beliefs as “anti-Semitic”:

1) Any assertion “that the Jewish community controls government, the media, international business and the financial world” is “anti-Semitic”.

2) ”Strong anti-Israel sentiment” is “anti-Semitic”.

3) ”Virulent criticism” of Israel’s leaders, past or present, is anti-Semitic. According to the State Department, anti-Semitism occurs when a swastika is portrayed in a cartoon decrying the behavior of a past or present Zionist leader. Thus, a cartoon that includes a swastika to criticize Ariel Sharon’s brutal 2002 invasion of the West Bank, raining “hell-fire” missiles on hapless Palestinian men, women and children, is anti-Semitic. Similarly, when the word “Zionazi” is used to describe Sharon’s saturation bombing in Lebanon in 1982 (killing 17,500 innocent refugees), it is also “anti-Semitic.”

4) Criticism of the Jewish religion or its religious leaders or literature (especially the Talmud and Kabbalah) is “anti-Semitic”.

A BILL /further referred to as an Anecdote:

To authorize the establishment within the Department of State of an Office to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism alone, to require inclusion in annual Department of State reports of information concerning acts of exclusively anti-Semitism around the world, and for other purposes (?).
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the USA in Congress assembled.

SECTION 1. This Act may be cited as the Global Anti-Semitism Awareness Act of 2004.

SEC. 2. Congress makes the following significant findings:

(1) Acts of anti-Semitism in countries throughout the world, including some of the world's strongest democracies, have increased significantly in frequency and scope over the last several years.(2) During the last 3 (?) months of 2003 and the first 3 (?) months of 2004, there were numerous instances of anti-Semitic violence around the world, including the following incidents:(A) In Putrajaya, Malaysia, on October 16, 2003, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia told the 57 national leaders assembled for the Organization of the Islamic Conference that Jews rule the world by proxy, and called for a final victory by the world's 1.3 billion Muslims, who cannot be defeated by a few million Jews.(C) In Hobart, Australia, on January 5, 2004, poison was used to ignite and burn anti-Semitic slogans into the lawns of the Parliament House of the state of Tasmania.

(3) Anti-Semitism has at times taken the form of vilification of Zionism, the Jewish national movement, and incitement against Israel.

(4) Anti-Semitism is also increasingly emanating from the Arab and Muslim world on a sustained basis, including through books distributed by government-owned publishing houses in Egypt and other Arab countries.

(5) In November 2002, state-run television in Egypt broadcast the anti-Semitic series entitled Horseman Without a Horse, which is based upon the fictitious conspiracy theory known as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The Protocols have been used throughout the last century by despots such as Adolf Hitler to justify violence against Jews alone.

(6) In November 2003, Arab television featured an anti-Semitic series entitled Ash-Shatat (The Diaspora), which depicts Jewish people conspiring to gain control of the world (which is untrue).

SEC. 3. SENSE OF CONGRESS (not the common sense!).

(1) the United States should continue to vigorously support efforts to combat solely anti-Semitism worldwide through bilateral relationships and interaction with international organizations such as the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE);

(2) the United States delegation to the OSCE conference in Berlin should advocate for the appointment of a High Commissioner on anti-Semitism alone;

(3) the President should direct the United States Ambassador to the United Nations to introduce in the most appropriate forum in the United Nations a measure condemning anti-Semitism alone;

(4) the Secretary of State should establish a permanent office in the Department of State to monitor and combat anti-Semitism alone; and

(5) the Department of State should thoroughly document acts of solely anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incitement that occur around the world.

SEC. 4. AUTHORIZATION FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF OFFICE TO MONITOR AND COMBAT ANTI-SEMITISM (at whose expense???????????!!!).

SEC. 59. MONITORING AND COMBATING ANTI-SEMITISM alone.

(1) The Secretary is authorized and encouraged to establish within the Department of State an Office to Monitor and Combat anti-Semitism (no need to monitor anti-Russianism, anti-Serbianism, anti-Palestinianism, anti-Lebanism, Islamophobia etc).

(b) Purpose of Office: to assume the primary responsibility for -monitoring and combating acts of anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incitement that occur in foreign countries;

SEC. 5. INCLUSION IN DEPARTMENT OF STATE ANNUAL REPORTS OF INFORMATION CONCERNING ACTS OF ANTI-SEMITISM IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES (only and exclusively of anti-Semitism!).

(C) Acts of anti-semitism: An assessment and description of the nature and extent of acts of anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incitement that occur in foreign countries, including:

(i) acts of physical violence against, or harassment of, Jewish people alone, and acts of violence against, or vandalism of, solely Jewish community institutions, including schools, synagogues, and cemeteries that occurred in foreign countries during the preceding year;

(ii) instances of propaganda in government and non-government media and other sources in foreign countries that attempt to justify or promote racial hatred or incite acts of violence against Jewish people alone;(iv) the actions taken by such governments to enact and enforce laws relating to the protection of the right to religious freedom of Jewish people alone...
